The Federal gov ponies up 2.5 billions and the other trillions come from state/local and private sources. When it is all said and done every road and bridge will be a privately owned toll road.

But we’ll get to pay for most of it in local levy’s, fees, sales taxes etc.

What’s not to like?

Privatization Grant Shark Week.
Or "F-you and the country, gimme tax dollars" week

Where investors get their grants to plan on how much of the money will actually be used to repair infrastructure, and the tax payers are forced to pay for the grants.

President Eisenhower already showed the Republican Party and country how infrastructure is accomplished.

Oh, too bad they leveraged so much debt to finance tax cuts for the elite and corporations already.
