Jenny Craig, Home Depot to stop advertising on Laura Ingraham's show

BY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 03/30/18 02:01 PM EDT

Weight loss and nutrition company Jenny Craig and hardware chain Home Depot said Friday that they would stop advertising on Fox News host Laura Ingraham’s show.

“We have decided to take steps to discontinue advertising on this show,” Jenny Craig told HuffPost.

At least 11 sponsors have pulled their support from "The Ingraham Angle" after the host mocked Parkland, Fla., school shooting survivor David Hogg over his college rejections.

Hogg began targeting Ingraham’s advertisers on Wednesday night over her comments.

Before Twitter, this right winger's true character might not have been spread as wide. She must think she's the president or something, since he can tweet whatever he wants and get away with it.

I think Drumpf might have his new Communications Director ready to go once her show gets cancelled.

I'm so, so proud of these kids!

Someone on the politics subreddit (it's left leaning) commented that the Parkland shooting was the perfect storm; the Sandy Hook kids were too young and the Vegas shooting had a lot of pro-NRA attendees, even as people were murdered in front of them.

These kids are educated, social media savvy, and affluent. They're also not dependant on an employer so they can speak up.

The Parkland massacre is the straw that broke the camel's back.

(These aren't my original thoughts; I just thought the Reddit commenter was spot on.)

I finally have some hope! And I bet President Obama does too!
