Graffiti of Trump involved in school shooting shocks the city of Florence (AL)

POSTED 5:29 PM, APRIL 2, 2018, BY CARTER WATKINS, UPDATED AT 08:37PM, APRIL 2, 2018

FLORENCE, Ala. – The wonderful thing about the First Amendment, people are allowed to express their thoughts and feelings. However, someone has shocked an entire city after they put their latest graffiti creation in downtown Florence.

Historic Downtown Florence is known for its all-American feel. Over the last several years though, graffiti artists have been putting their stamp on walls.

“It’s not something that we want to have to see every day.” Sarah Shirey and her husband own Turbo Coffee on Tennessee Street across from the latest graffiti display. It depicts President Trump shooting a handgun at children. The display appeared early this morning.

Florence city leaders are just as shocked as Shirey and the others who have seen it. The display is on private property so their hands are sort of tied.

She understands free speech and all (no, Sarah, i don't think you do) and SHE doesn't want to have to look at it. (Well, then don't.)

I have to ask because this is really bad reporting...

The writing seems to be on an eighth grade level and the angle they chose seems to be:
"Florence has an all American feel and that means supporting the great leader"

This video's whole vibe is fucking creepy.

I hope that the property owner tells city government to eat it and keeps the graffiti in place

violence . Sounds like they are pressuring the wall owner to remove all graffiti
Should be alarming as it represents many school shootings

They may paint over it in record time - for a small town, but 30 years from now it will still be a daily topic of conversation.

Small towns never forget a damn thing. In this case I can just have a delicious laugh about that.

That's what gay people say about homophobia.
That's what transgender people say about transphobia.
That's what Muslims say about Islamophobia.
That's what minorities say about racism.
That's what liberals say about the anti-liberal mindset that causes conservatives to say they would rather vote for a sex offender or a guy who killed 29 people in a mine disaster over seeing a liberal win an election.

So, deal with it. Everyone else has to.

And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're going through

(Turn and face the strange)

Don't tell them to grow up and out of it

(Turn and face the strange)

Where's your shame
You've left us up to our necks in it
Time may change me
But you can't trace time

What's so alarming is we have a pResident who constantly bullies everyone.

And it was the pResident / candidate Trump'd who claimed he could shoot someone on 5th Ave. and no one would care.

I hope the owner of the property tells them to pound sand!
