“You write a story that has Mr. Trump’s name in it, with the word ‘rape,’ and I’m going to mess your life up…for as long as you’re on this frickin’ planet … you’re going to have judgments against you, so much money, you’ll never know how to get out from underneath it,” Michael Cohen, special counsel to Trump, told The Daily Beast reporter Tim Mak.

“I will make sure that you and I meet one day while we’re in the courthouse. And I will take you for every penny you still don’t have. And I will come after your Daily Beast and everybody else that you possibly know,” Cohen said. “So I’m warning you, tread very f****ing lightly, because what I’m going to do to you is going to be f***ing disgusting. You understand me?”

I seem to remember a story about Dons love of recording stuff and using technical(?) equipment to do nasty stuff. Not only did he have all the rooms in Mara Lago set up to a switchboard where he could listen in on everyone, he also had a standard trick he'd use to bed someones wife. Something like hooking the mans wife up w a street walker then getting the woman in his office. he'd call the guy on speaker phone and ask how the hooker was in front of the wife. then while she was reeling(?) from the new found info...take advantage of her. Probably recording that too. This guy is a Class A piece of work, and had wayyyy too much time on his hands and too much money. His buddies like Cohen and the Nixon tattoo guy, (to name two), would encourage him and help w the gymnastics. Just to get laid, or screw over a business partner. Honestly, NOTHING is beyond dt. To think the guy QUIT using the old recording device trick etc. to blackmail people would be the height of fallacy. I'm SURE Cohen knows a LOT of really dark stuff about dt and could talk for days. I would put nothing past dt including having ties to the mob, and possibly information on some missing persons in NY and NJ over the years. The list could be long...but it's about to be finite. Mobsters throwing people out tall building windows, is standard ops.

in a little orange jumpsuit...the world looks a little different. You may take a different view of who is your friend and who is not, and of loyalty oaths.

OTOH, it's possible that Trump IS like a mob boss, and Cohen might not be allowed to snitch. Trump, a man who wants to kill the families of terrorists as punishment, might be willing to threaten ruination of the lives of family members.
