I'm a bit of a blank on the firecracker possibilities. We clearly need someone up to the standard of Clinton and Warren.

(15,682 posts)Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Warren, I believe is what I heard.
Edit to add: Warren will speak before and introduce Clinton, or something like that. I was working with the TV on for white noise so I wasn't really paying attention.
Come to think of it, I may have imagined the whole thing.

(3,784 posts)............but Warner in 2008 was a real disappointment. I enjoyed a lot of the other speakers much more. I thought the Governor of Montana (whose name escapes me at the moment--Brian something) was particularly good.

(2,978 posts)I'm old enough to remember Clinton in 1988.
I'm sorry Warren won't be the keynote with Clinton introducing her, but then, she's been a thorn in the side of this administration.
Barbara Jordan twice in 92 and 76 and probably most famously Ann Richards in 88.

Before the days of endless repeats and DVR--if you didn't see it the first time, you missed it. I missed Ann Richards.
