My thoughts on Robert Reich's Question about the airstrikes by Trump is the answer is Yes:

Is it possible Trump ordered the airstrikes in Syria to distract from (1) the corruption investigation and FBI raid of Trump's long-time personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen; (2) Trump’s sudden pardon of Dick Cheney’s White House assistant Scooter Libby -- presumably to send a signal to those who might talk to Robert Mueller or face jail time that Trump could pardon them, too; and (3) FBI Director James Comey’s scathing revelations about Trump in his new book? Just asking.
