DUpvote this one good comment on CNN.com in a sea of NRA drones!

This is the ONE GOOD comment I've seen so far after CNN.com's article "Democrats propose limits on online ammo sales"...it's on the way bottom because the NRA types are dominating!

If marketing trolls can track online purchases of everything else, why is no one keeping count of onlne firearm and ammo sales? Sales should require a verified ID, such as Facebook. People use it to give up their privacy for everything else, why not something as important as ammunition? If for legitimate purposes, no one and no group should feel they have to hide the fact, and law enforcement needs to know who is building stockpiles of guns and ammo. Sudden spikes can be a red flag and in the public interest.

This comment I already upvoted. It is the first up vote for that comment.

Registration is not required for voting up comments. The top voted comment (with 7): "Can we just propose limits on Democrats?" Another with 3 "like" votes: "The people should have as much arms and ammo as the government to keep them in check.
Without the second amendment we would already under obama be subjects and not American Citizens. Sad , but TRUE"

Gun enthusiasts don't like to be called gun nuts, but here they are making comments like the one you've copied.

"The people should have as much arms and ammo as the government to keep them in check. Without the second amendment we would already under obama be subjects and not American Citizens. Sad, but TRUE"

Unbelievable.

Too high of a number and it wont make a difference in mass shootings. Holmes might have bought 6k rounds but he didnt bring that much with him. If the amount is too low, police departments will start using the reports as backup toilet paper since they will be getting tons of them everyday.

And what is the ATF supposed to do when they get the report? Arrest the person and interrogate them to make sure they arent doing anything wrong?
