...she would hold out as long as she could until Trump's eventual removal/resignation while building her own graces with his replacement (likely Pence) and burnishing her own political resume for a run for higher office down the road.
However I think she misunderestimated the situation.
She's still nothing more than a crappy Republican, but a different brand of crappy Republican than Donald Trump.

(50,273 posts)You're 100% right that she's in this for her own political aspirations. Her response to Kudlow was a positive move, but overall any connection to the Orange Fuhrer is going to be the giant black mark on a resume.

(70,239 posts)if or who trump might have been involved in Kudlow's apology to Haley??? IF??
I read the the WH decided to blame Haley for the 'mix-up". She was not taking that crap. For that I app;aud her (not her politic)

(32,002 posts)but, she's still a Republican who was highly critical of Trump, but once she got offered the UN position she became his sycophant. To me that is unforgiveable. The GOP party should have exactly ZERO women members, especially in light of Sessions saying that domestic violence is not a reason for accepting a woman immigrant.
