Can't Get Much More Offensive Than This!

Breeding Concept?? We're into Steven Miller/Baby Goebbel's territory. A Revolution in California? Yes, against the Trumpster and his hideous world view.

The tipping point has come and gone. Anyone supporting this man is an enemy of the civilized world, let alone a democratic society, period.

This cannot, will not stand.

Because their special interest Prosperity Gospel/Tea Party/Aryan Nation supporters that have kept them in power ginned up enough signatures to "put the issue to a hearing".
Doesn't matter that when the hearing occurred, twice as many anti-lawsuit supporters were there with legitimate community safety and jurisdiction/funding arguments against Drumpf's lawsuit and ICE tactics as there were Know-Nothings parroting the Drumpf anti-immigrant spewing.

The County Board of Supervisors are all Republicans in the Darryl Issa/Duncan Hunter Jr. mold. Even the supposedly "pro immigrant business" ones. They have never listened to anything that questions their opinions or consider they could be wrong. (I'm especially looking at you, Horne and Gaspare...)

I do not give the benefit of the doubt to, and Steven Miller would be entirely comfortable with a statement like this. Though I agree the Republican argument is as you stated, nothing that the Trumpster has said or done refutes how he's worded this tweet.

Freudian slip, perhaps? Oops!

What exactly does he mean by "breeding concept?" It appears to be a new addition to his rhetoric on immigration. He doesn't appear to have used it before on Twitter or in recent public remarks on sanctuary cities.

There is great danger in trying to dissect every word of a Trump tweet, but in this case it is worth trying to figure out. CNN has reached out to the White House to figure out exactly what he meant.

The tweet has not been deleted at the time of this writing, so he means for those words to remain out there. In other words, it's not likely to be at typo. He has been known to correct those in the past.

A simple Google search doesn't uncover any specific mention of a "breeding concept" with regard to sanctuary cities in the conservative media, so it's a little unclear what he's referring to.

Taken literally, the most likely explanation is that he's talking about sanctuary cities as places where undocumented immigrants breed.
If that's right, there's a racial undertone in the comment should slap you in the face.

I don't know, my suggestion doesn't make sense either in the context of the tweet, but really neither does anything else. If he was being out-and-out racist here i.e. "breeding" in regards to birth rates, that's a whole new level of deplorable.

This should not be ignored. Not even a hint, an inkling of this sort of disgusting attitude should be allowed to stand.

Not Ever!

If this is a mistake? Then let the Trumpster retract/delete it. Because this is beyond the pale and can have no quarter.

We heard that from the Trumpsters' own lips.

Sadly, I think your right. For the Trumpster and his supporters, Mexicans and Muslims are their favored scapegoats.

Makes you feel like Superman. Until it doesn't. Those rambling, make-no-sense unedited interviews is another tip-off. When you're speeding, you think you're brilliant, even though you sound like a garbeled maniac. And when you come down? People tend to get incredibly short-tempered, impatient, angry. And then finally depressed.

Good way to burn out brain cells.

* Border Crossings are already at their lowest point in many, many years (and basically fell throughout Obama's term)
* California/Sanctuary Cities are absolutely NO more unsafe than similarly sized cities in other areas
* Immigrants, legal and otherwise, commit serious crimes at far lower rates than natural born citizens

VERY few in CA aside from the racists and assorted knuckle-dragging consumers of the daily lies of Dump/Hannity/Faux/et al, are complaining about CA's stance on not using state/local constabulary to help the ICE do their job, esp. not because they feel 'unsafe'. Some may complain about it on the basis of fear of 'immigrants taking my jerb', but those are pretty few and mostly Faux types as well.

But minorities are being used as scapegoats and that has a dangerous antecedent. Even a whiff of this sort of thing--typo or not--needs to be stamped out immediately.

As I've said elsewhere, we've seen this movie before. It did not end well.
