Citizens United may light up the eyes of many a Republican Politician, but that puppy might grow up to be a dog that bites.*
I can not help be be dazzled by the disarray that seems to be the Republican Party. Who is in charge over there anyway? I know who the leaders of the Democratic Party are and I understand and generally agree with the Platform the party ran on in the last Presidential election. The Democratic Party is a known entity, but what in the very bowls of hell is the Republican Party? If it is anything at all that can be described I would have to call it a loosely united band of factions, each perfectly willing to cut the throats of the others at the drop of a hat. There are the Super Rich, there are the military to the exclusion of all else folks, there is the Tea Party and its band of buffoons, there is the Religious Right, and then there are the fossil energy interests, and finally some sort of subculture of political leaches, personified by the likes of Darrell Issa and Eric Cantor, who are apparently just in it for the money. Oh, and there is FOX. In a sense maybe it is FOX that actually holds it all together and in fact it may be that the Republican Party, at least the Party as it exists today, is really just an illusion fully contrived and delivered to us by FOX News.
* What do you think will happen for the Religious Right after the big money wins out?

Isn't that an accurate descriptor of the capitalistic model of business that the gop worships?
The same thing that happen in February 1980 and February 2000 and February 2004 ... they will be cast aside.

The GOPers can't make a single move without first considering the wishes of those three.
