Santorum: Romney’s One-Year Tax Return Is ‘Bigger Than My Ten Years’

Former Republican presidential contender Rick Santorum is satisfied with Mitt Romney’s public tax return disclosure because, as he says, one year of tax returns that Romney has already released is “probably” equal to ten years worth for Santorum.

“I think probably his one-year tax return is bigger than my ten years,” said Santorum on CNN’s ‘The Situation Room’ today.

“I think to me it’s a distraction,” added Santorum of the tax return issue. “Governor Romney can make that case from the standpoint of the politics of it. I’m not going to weigh-in on that. I think if you look at the pressure that Governor Romney is getting on his tax returns and you look at the lack of pressure President Obama’s had on a whole series of things personal to him that he’s still refused to include his transcripts and a whole list of other things, it’s again a double standard.”

It's not that I made a shitload from any of them (and one is my wife's), but I had to file separate Schedule C and SE forms for each along with a few other minor forms. I've seen estimates of 200 and 500 for rMoney's 2010 return, but either way, that's a SHITLOAD of paper! He's probably waiting to release them a week before the election on the grounds that it would take a small army to sift through all of that shit. Besides, you would never get an answer from the IRS as to whether they are legitimate or mock-ups within a week.

...it's likely true, and would be relevant if people measuring the size of Mitt's returns against Obama's. Santorum is a moron.

Oh, and Mitt hasn't released a full year.

OOPS! Mitt's 2010 Tax Returns NOT Fully Disclosed

I'm sure the deductions are a lot longer than the returns...

doesn't even make sense.

Should Mitt release more tax returns? Well, his tax return is bigger than ten of mine.
