I you don't let protections for Mueller come to the Senate floor so that the Senators can make it absolutely clear about how they would feel about their firings, we will have weeks, even months of a terrible constitutional crises.

Our country will be weakened, the Republican brand will be shot, and Trump will be raving.

It's on your head.

It's like some of the most dedicated Nazis on trial for war crimes at Nürnberg after World War II. Some of them were still genuinely confused, not understanding why they were being accused of wrongdoing.
