The Handmaid's Tale is the ideal world for these RW churches. The latest anti woman laws being passed in various states is part of their ALEC strategy to end women's right to control their own bodies. Somehow they must be challenged and stopped. They are counting on Trump or Pence to stack the Supreme Court with 9 judges who will unanimously declare Roe/Wade unconstitutional. Then push to pass laws making birth control illegal and abortion a 1st degree murder.

Women are at the greatest risk of being made 2nd class citizens in decades. And they are in more danger of being jailed for being able to choose their reproductive fate. Abortion has always been about ending contraception and enforcing abstinence. Remember that.
