In Trump's position, lawyers are hired to smooth things over

with a shovel, and then say “There’s no hole here and never was, folks, nothing to see, let’s move on....” but Giuliani just keeps digging the hole deeper and calling more attention to it. The only thing I can think of is that Trump is going for an insanity defense, on the basis that he’d have to be crazy to hire Giuliani as his lawyer.

I know they have been friends for a long time, but with friends like Rudy Giuliani who needs enemas?

the Prosecution side. After he gives interviews it seems everyone is taking about what Trump did or did not do instead of what Mueller did or not do.

in the court of public opinion. But it will just be tried in court. Is Giuliani just senile or does he just like to be on TV, or is there some actual strategy going on?

Because he's letting the real him hang out on display, and nobody but nobody wants to see it.
