BREAKING: A GOP Hill staffer just told me she was instructed today to keep her distance from Devin Nunes, his staff and the GOP House Intel Cmte staff, because it looks like they are targets "of multiple ongoing investigations by Special Counsel Mueller's office/FBI and the DoJ."

(7,217 posts)Up to his donkey-like mouth with the renegades at the NYC FBI field office.
Oct. 26, 2016, Rudy Giuliani began teasing an October surprise which, Giuliani said, would turn the tide against Hillary Clinton. He refused to say what the forthcoming surprise would be.
Two days later, the big-mouth publicly said that he had sources within the FBIactive agentswho had told him of virulent anti-Clinton sentiment in the New York field office and an internal rebellion against Comeys July decision not to indict Clinton.

(16,646 posts)Not sure which ones you think would apply here. Conspiracy isn't gonna be covered by that. They probably can't get him for anything he said in committee. But if he conspired to commit perjury, I'm dubious there is a way out of that.

(10,252 posts)Obviously voted out is the #1 way. But if Mueller indicts Nunes for obstruction of justice, I don't think congress people get impeached with a bill of impeachment. I know that they can be brought before the ethics committee, but does the whole house vote on removal?

(19,201 posts)It's past time that Grima Wormtongue look-a-like got slapped up aside the head with a fist full of subpoenas. I really hope Rosenstein set him up with some sort of "oh, shit" treasonous information today, that he'll immediately share with the White House.
I want that mother-hucker to be slapped down so far he can pull his socks up over his head! He's lower than whale shit.
It's time to send another donation to Janz. It's time for Nunes's 15 years in the House to come to a screeching HALT!

(43,158 posts)some "treasonous information". Could be a sting to see what he does with it. Feds are great at letting investigations run, then rounding up every last perp.

The tough love approach to justice, that is just what Devin deserves. Slap him around, kick him in the groin, then spit at him.
Can Mueller water board that little prick and find out who he is prostituting himself for ? Why does Devin swear his allegiance to Putin and the Motherland of Russia ?
All these Rethugs have a fantasy of becoming filthy rich like the Russian Syndicate of Criminal Oligarchs. Free market capitalism is so yesterday's news.
Now Fascist Authoritarianism is the new "Alt-Right" Nazi brown shirts storm troopers new religion - masquerading around in a clean white heavily starched Oxford shirts and khaki colored pants with oxblood penny loafers. Just a splash of that preppy frat boy persona. But don't allow yourself to be fooled.
A fucking Nazi is still a fucking Nazi no matter how much lipstick you smear on their Fascist pig faces.

(4,007 posts)this heretofore unknown congressman had nothing to gain, so to speak, by so overtly being the handmaiden for Trump. Elected, in a safe district, committee chair....so what gives?
It's now evident he was up to his eyeballs in the Russian thingee from Day 1! That's the only rational reason for his many stupid moves to not only protected Trump but himself. I mean, a non-lawyer, an agr. degree and not a lot of time in DC. A perfect dupe to do the King's bidding.
I do wonder though: who recruited him to run such heavy interference? Did he unknowingly get his knickers into the Russia thing and only too late realize his jeopardy? Or, was he blackmailed (kompromat, and by whom) into the whole dastardly plan from the start?
