1. Don't chant lock him up, vote

If Trump is locked up he will become a martyr, his supporters will be energized.they will turn out to vote in record numbers. A far better solution is to just vote him out of office? Locking Trump up makes universal health care much less likely. It makes social justice far less likely. We need to do what President Obama tries to do, play the long game.

they sounded like heathens. I understand how you feel though. It's easy to be ugly. Hard to be the adult.

3. Agree, our chant should be, "Vote! Vote! Vote!"

We're not damned trumpsters. This is what the U.S. Senate will look like IF Trump were to be impeached by the house and then tried in the senate.



We've never sent a president to prison, though, because of the bitterness and division that would have caused in each case. This time might be different. But removal from office after a guilty verdict, or allowing Trump to avoid that by resigning in disgrace, possibly to face charges for personal crimes in federal or state court, would seem more likely.
