The NRA is a de facto Russian SuperPAC whose goal is more Americans murdering each other...

or they are an gun industry lobbying and promotional firm whose goal is increased sales (and profits) at any cost...

or both.

Things they don't actually care that much about, but consider good talking points:
1) civil rights
2) gun safety
3) marksmanship skills
4) hobbyist recreation
5) crime reduction/mitigation
