(17,984 posts)but over here the majority party hates education. We are an idiocracy. Please take heed and do not let this happen in other countries.

Is there something else?

Hillary went to Vassar and got her law degree at Yale. I'd say they share that title.

(3,275 posts)She has earned
A Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware
A Master of Education with a specialty in Reading from West Chester University
A Master of Arts degree in English from Villanova University
A Doctor of Education in educational leadership from the University of Delaware (which she earned at age 55)
She is also the first Second Lady to hold a paying job while her husband was Vice President. She worked as an associate professor at Northern Virginia Community College teaching three English and writing composition courses two days per week. Her position there was as normal as she could make it, sharing a cubicle with another teacher, holding regular office hours for students, and trying to get her accompanying Secret Service agents to dress as unobtrusively as possible.

It is true some public figures cultivate a foreign accent as a distinctive mark.
They often do so through a teacher. Apart from that, they express themselves correctly, in compliance with grammar rules.
I don't see Melania Trump's point in slaughtering English?
Of course, if her husband coaches her, I get it better...

(9,426 posts)what "remarks" are said about Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama? THOSE are insulting. Mrs. tRump is a gold digger, quite obviously. She has discovered money can not buy happiness, and looks miserable all the time. The naked photos are available for all to see. She HAS had cosmetic surgery. Truth hurts, eh? Phony president, phony wife, phony administration full of frauds.

(8,200 posts)I don't regard them as normal. More in the same category as gangster's molls. For the much greater part the women elected to congress have performed well and have demonstrated that they are at least open to civil discussions and compromise. Of course there are exceptions. Look at Trumps cabinet. A women in any position would be am improvement.

(2,574 posts)A summa cum laude from Seven Sisters (Princeton did not admit women in 1965) and a law degree from Yale, the most respected, most competetive law school in the US in 1969 to 1972....(a small class even of men compared to Harvard with maybe a handful of women allowed in back then.)Michelle's wonderful & her education outstanding. But Hillary simply a superstar for a woman in the sixties.
