Wonderful surprise for me to see Congressman Kennedy there, too, saying, “Ai, se puede” (yes, we can)-Caesar Chavez’ rally cry. We couldn’t see children but had to be happy with showing support for families. I’m too tech challenged to post pictures from my phone but our favorite signs said: “Even with Trump’s election, I did not Nazi this coming”. “End family separation.” “Family has no borders.” “Keep reading, Jeff. ‘Love does no evil to their neighbor; hence Love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans ...something. “This is a manufactured crisis.” “Zero tolerance is torture.” I am proud of being part of this show of support for our children. Thank you, my DU brothers and sisters for being there with us.
