Updated : Photos and NBC segment from INSIDE the detention camp, this is a disgrace.

The first photos since zero tolerance was announced inside the largest Border Patrol processing station in US — McAllen’s Ursula.

This is where we toured today.

They say it’s where more kids are separated from their parents than anywhere else in the US.

NBC News’ @jacobsoboroff goes inside the country’s largest immigration processing center where more than a thousand kids have been separated from their parents since the policy began.
...................

Utterly disgraceful conditions.

This is hell

I have written letters to my congressmen in the past over other issues. They do not listen. I vote. But this cannot wait until November. Jesus Christ! I truly cannot believe (although I now do) that McConnell and Ryan have no heart. Apparently, no soul either.

I've asked the Democratic Town Committee where I live to put out a resolution demanding this practice be stopped, and it looks like this is happening, and am trying to get my friends who relatives who belong to a synagogue or church or any appropriate organization to do the same. Also, write letters to the editors. This does seem like nothing, but the louder the outcry the better chance we have of stopping this.

I am so ashamed and filled with horror about this that I literally can't find the words to describe my feelings towards 45 and his merry enablers.

"Oh stop the nonsense! Where are the Dems when all the children are being trafficked? These kids are being cared for better than anytime in their lives!"

And that's the kind of thinking we're combating.

If I were seven years old, you could put me up in a five star hotel, but if you took my parents away from me with no idea of when I'd see them again, I think distraught is a bit underrated in how I would feel about the situation.

who bet me a hundred dollars we would never see actual pictures of kids in cages (granted, they are largish cages).

In this case i don't like being right...
