Washington Post is maintaining a LIVE map of immigrant children detention centers

Just FYI, if you want to know where the known immigrant children detention centers are. WaPo is also asking for information from anyone who knows of ones not on the map. (I know my state doesn't have any, per the Governor.)

I suspect they view the girls as being too sympathetic a visual, like that little girl in red/pink that made the cover of TIME.

But I worry that some private organization is "taking care" of them...and girls are more likely than the boys to be abused, IMO. Someone on tv concerned for them says we don't know how they're being cared of, if they're being bathed, WHO is bathing them or watching them being bathed....I get what he was saying. This is VERY worrying.

We saw those girls in NY being taken somewhere in the middle of the night. Horrible.

Wonder if anyone has been tracking McConnel's wife's shipping business. It had been in trouble in the past for drug shipping.

I really think we're on the verge of Nazi Germany pre-WWII...where the beginnings of horrific things are happening, and the public is going along, not realizing the depth of what's going on. Propaganda films of "nice camps" for the Jews, where they play pool, in spacious rooms, disabled & elderly being cared for to live the rest of their lives in ease & peace.

I don't mean to be dramatic, but ... this is a very concerning situation.

Madelyn Albright, coincidentally, just hit the bookstands with her book. It's called "Fascism...A Warning." It's about the chipping away at our democractic institutions, paving the way for fascism. And how that is how fascism takes hold..piece by piece. The free press being the "enemy of the people," is one thing to look for.
