The Red Hen probably never gets many republican Customers

I looked at the website and it's one of those locally sourced pro environmently friendy with changing menu type place

So they will face harrassment and threats but i don't see it hurting their business.

In fact business will probably go up because it appeals to liberals and those not familiar with it before will go.

It's pretty expensive but if i was ever around there i would make a point of eating there at least once.

1. I hope you are right, but SW Virginia does have a lot of right-leaning folks.

The restaurant is 3 hrs or more from the DC area. If it were closer, or near another urban area or Charlottesville, definitely business would go up.

4. I think you might be surprised

while the primary customers may be liberals, I think you'd find a decent portion of Republicans indulging in organic food and/or ethnic foods fairly often. It's not all BBQs and Chick-Fil-A
