It's not enough for prominent REPUBS to take a leave of absence.

Itís nice for Scarborough, Will, Wallace, and Schmidt to say they are leaving the current Republican Party because of their disdain for Trump.
But, thatís not enough.
The only thing that can possibly stop Trump and the march toward Totalitarianism is the current Democratic Party.
These people, if really serious about stopping Trump, should vow to do everything in their power to elect Democrats in November.
Otherwise, itís all just a lot of noise and bluster.
Will has said the current GOP ďdeservesĒ to lose in November.
But, he has stopped short of saying he will help to make that happen
That is what is needed.
All sane hands on deck.
The GOP holds all of the National and most state halls of power.
They will purge, obstruct, and gerrymander (where still legal) to limit Dem voting.
Some feel they can and have even changed results where machines have no paper trails and the source codes may have been compromised.
That being said, all sane minded people in this country, no matter how they have voted or infrequently voted or never voted, must register and get as many people voting and working in Dem campaigns before November.
The time is now to come to the aid of your country.
It is under attack from within.

1. Schmidt and Frum are on board with the Democrats.

Intern Joe will always be for the GOP.

2. I'd forgotten about Frum

You can tell that they are kinda, sorta, secretly hoping the Dems take back the House (just while Trump is in office to put some kind of a check on him).
But, they just canít or wonít say out loud that they want that to happen.

6. Frum almost always offers excuses for Republican positions...

... while condemning them at the same time. He's a weasel words guy that I don't trust.

4. There is absolutely no evidence that vote

totals were changed. I completely agree they need to push for Dems or shut up.

5. I want to see Schmidt stump against Romney in Utah

He'd have to spend time at pro Democratic candidate rallies and throw serious shade on Romney for me to even begin to think he's turned the corner.

As far as I'm concerned he's turned his angry volume into a sweet part time gig on tv. Nice work if you can get it. If his leaving the GOP is because he's scared and ashamed of how much he helped those fascists to power then he can just stuf.

"Leave of absence" - that rings true to me.
