Fuck Jimmy Dore, fuck Jill Stein or any other moron that claimed elections don't matter!
No day has illustrated how much elections matter like today. We are on the verge of the end of women’s autonomy over their own bodies in America today and we have not just the right wing monsters who pushed us here to thank. Responsibility lies with the purists, the “Bernie or busters”, the Jill Stein supporters, the Jimmy Dores and the Susan Sarandons as well. I staunchly supported Bernie Sanders during the 2016 Democratic Presidential primaries. I was with him starting the day he gave his announcement speech in Vermont. But never, not for one instant, did I consider the possibility of voting third party, or not voting at all, if Bernie lost. I’m not wealthy. I witness first hand what gop policies do to hard working people. I care deeply about the women in my life and I plan to have children one day. And if my child turns out to be a daughter, I want her to grow up in a world where she feels safe and feels that she is in control of her own destiny. What does it imply if the world doesn’t trust women to make decisions over their own bodies? We know what this will lead to and it ain’t pretty.
