It's an important juncture. If DU is quoted favorably as credible before it is attacked by trolls it's an enormous PR advantage. It's easy for critics with money and influence to find offbeat posts on forums, and paint the whole forum as offbeat.

There's a lot of thoughtful discussion here, and overcoming a generation of right-wing propaganda can be done if younger voters get their information from DU instead of the likes of a political propaganda and gossip network like Fox News.
