(56,829 posts)did report that Mueller had evidence that Cohen was in Prague at the time mentioned in the Steele Dossier a few months, but it was not supported by other stories.
That said, it's entirely possible that Cohen flew to whatever country is nearby and took the train to Prague.

(5,995 posts)Berlin or Munich would be 3-4 hrs by rental car, Frankfurt 5-6 hrs.
A passport and valid US driver's license would get you a rental car that you could drive to any EU capital without going through a customs checkpoint. Outwardly it would look no different than spending the entire time in the city of your arrival if you didn't use a card to pay for anything.
Taking the train would work as well, but more likely to picked up on CCTV at the stations.

(32,841 posts)It would have been no big deal to rent a car and drive from northern Italy to Prague. Hold up an American passport and drive right through the checkpoint. He probably wasn't even stopped.
So yes, spending cash only or using Visa debit cards anonymously. No receipts, no names.

(5,995 posts)Italy through Austria into Czech Republic would be all EU, no customs. A pocketful of Euros and no electronic fingerprints. Prague is so full of tourists, no one would have noticed him at all.
