@SenSchumer

I will oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with everything I have, and I hope a bipartisan majority will do the same. The stakes are simply too high for anything less.

But, agree. PLEASE, man, make us a miracle! Our sowing the wind didn't mean we wanted to reap the whirlwind.

Judge Kavanaugh got the nomination because he passed this litmus test, not because he’ll be an impartial judge on behalf of all Americans. If he were to be confirmed, women’s reproductive rights would be in the hands of five men on the Supreme Court. #WhatsAtStake #StopKavanaugh

Seven of whom voted in support of pro-choice.

The right to an abortion has been defended my men as well (see Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey).

Also, the woman that Trump was considered is even more extreme with respect to this issue.

22. Dems should focus on Heller

Collins has always voted yes on R judicial nominees. Anything she says otherwise is lip service. Forget her.

Murkowski was rejected by the AK GOP and won as an independent write-in candidate. She might be influenced by her constituents and be sincere when she says she'll listen to them.

But Heller is in trouble in NV, a state Clinton won. He is the weak link in the Senate R caucus. Dems need to focus on calling and pressuring him. I assume he wants to keep his cushy taxpayer funded job although I wouldn't put it past McConnell to tell Heller there's a good job waiting for him with some big money GOP entity should a "yes" vote cost him his seat.

"Red state" Dems have plenty of ways to, as Ron Klain said, "get to no" on Kavanaugh that won't upset their constituents.
