Very interesting that Mueller chose to include "for the first time" in the indictment.

July 27, 2016, Trump: "Russia, if you're listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing."
Indictment: That evening, Russian operatives targeted Clinton campaign emails "for the first time."

they agreed to launch an all out digital attack against the US to tip the election to his favor. But what did Trump promise Putin in exchange for his treasonous victory?

She said that in the same speech where he asked Russia to find missing emails, he also talked about lifting sanctions and okaying the Crimea takeover.

and I said to myself, "Trump's lost, that's it, he's in bed with the Russians."

It was the week of the DNC, Convention week. Obama gave his delightful speech to the DNC that night, July 27.

I went to bed feeling really, really good. We had it in the bag. Obama had righted our ship, HRC was in full campaign mode, and Trump was appealing to Russia, a foreign power, for support. No way he could escape that.

And look what happened.

for a small group sitting in Russia to pull together all the elements they need for a spearphisphing attack on some specific servers and accounts in the U.S. that all probably have at least some password protection, antivirus protection, and maybe more than that at the network level?
