Do not be afraid to think the worst. Theres NO transparency, anything could be happening.

(62,270 posts)I mean, what would motivate a sane human being to take a child and keep it captive away from the parent? $700 a day, that's what. It would cost, what, $50 a day tops to house a child somewhere?

(5,210 posts)THere was NO PLAN to reunite the children with parents, and no steps taken to even create a decent paper trail.
There was extortion against parents who came here seeking asylum -- they were forced to choose between getting their child back and getting deported, or getting deported without their children.
The total lack of transparency for the whole mess is highly suspicious. We have not YET (to my knowledge) found out where the infants are, and where the girls are.
The whole thing was planned to exact as much suffering on the asylum seekers -- and those coming in illegally -- as possible, without any consequences whatsoever.
I find the whole thing genocidal in tone and tenor, if not fact.
