Politico copy and pastes another Drudge rumor

Politico says that Drudge said that an anonymous "insider" said that Obama told an anonymous fund-raiser that Romney wants David Petraeus for VP.

Politico is a pathetic pseudonews outlet.

associated with it, I never seriously took it as a serious news source. If Mike Allen could have crawled any further up Bush's butt, he would have been breathing for him. That guy literally wiggles all over when in the presence of Republican officials. That is all you needed to know about Politico from its inception.
