Why this lie, will always be known as a "lie." Trump did not misspeak

Let's say that you have a friend that you care a whole lot about. A great friend and that friend has a wonderful family. While talking to the friend, you say something very bad. But you got things mixed up. Too much booze. Ok, you have some people you work with who are with you, they catch the mistake you made to your friend, and tell you right away....What do you do?..But you care about this friend, very much because he is a great guy and has a great family........

You call your friend, immediately and tell him you made a mistake, and apologize profusely ....You do not wait, because you want the truth...to come out now, not tomorrow. Not after someone else (McConnell) makes a statement of truth.

You want to correct the error NOW!!! This was a terrible mistake, and you don't wait to apologize. You take care of the matter as soon as possible. So, if it was an honest mistake, (if that is possible) I and most of us would have dealt with it...last night..as soon as the plane landed. Clarify, and apologize to your friend.....IMMEDIATELY..!!!! Now, yes. late at night, but now, to immediately set thing right, because you care.

....It wasn't a mistake, it was a screw up of the highest order, and the tone of voice of that immediate apology would stand for itself. That is what I would do, and anyone who cared about that friend. It is that simple..

But no, Trump waited. McConnell spoke first, then Trump. Ok, so Trump was very tired from the trip. First thing in the morning with the tweets, .."I am sorry I made an awful mistake. I was wrong."...Not hours later, well ......."I misspoke." It won't stand the test of the truth, by lying again, so much later, he delivered himself to the garbage dump, and pushed himself in where he belongs.

4. Correct, but this so called "apology" will not work, and it will make him look worse.

And that is good for all of us. Yes, he is "a traitorous, lying sack of shit." no questions about it...And, my apologies to shit everywhere for the comparison.

5. Rubio backed off his earlier criticism of Trump's Monday statement.

When asked about Trump's "clarification" from "would" to "wouldn't" Rubio shrugged and said "Well, I can't read the President's mind, but what's important is what he does about the Russian meddling going foward".

Trump's inner circle has come up with what the believe will be adequate cover for his hostage GOP legislators.

6. I don't think this will work. I think that people will really look at this from all sides,

and conclude that Trumps so called, "clarification" was just another lie. Of course Trump does not realize it yet. He has been coddled all his life. People have taken the fall for him when he fu**ed up. But not this time. This is a different game. It is for all the marbles. No turning back. Putin made a fool of him, and we all know it. Not just us, the entire world knows it.

Today was another planned show. Trump thinks he can direct this show. He just doesn't know the show is over, and it is too late to discuss this show, because it closed yesterday. There was one minor chance to save the show, late last night, with another act, but Trump was too stupid/tired to know. The apology needed to be made when he got off the plane. Right then, not later. It might have been believed then, but not now. ....

This show is over. The play flopped horribly in this last act. Next.....

8. Yep, no "Mulligan" this time....

Some here don't know what a "Mulligan" is. It is a free shot on the golf course, when you make a "mistake" and your friends that you are playing with give you a break and do not count the shot, and let you take another shot for free. No penalty or even count of the so called, "mistake."

Trump has already used up his supply of "Mulligans." NO MORE, NOT THIS TIME, OR ANYTIME...

TIME IS UP..!!!!!
