Masha Gesson, Russian expert unmatched, on JOY's show. She said "This week when the legislators were on the floor chanting USA USA really creeped me out." Joy was taken aback....but think about it, I agree with Gesson. Our DEM reps and senators know who they are and where they are and what their job is.....to sink to the R's level, and Trump's level..having to profess loyalty to our country by yelling the name of our country in the Capitol is kind of lame. And they were unwittingly copying the nutjob Rs at Trump rallies. USA USA USA......

I like to think DEMS are smarter and more sophisticated than that.

1. I took it almost as a kind of sarcasm - GOPers were voting to defund election security

9. I see it as pure patriotism

Dems knew they were voting to save democracry. I’m not a cynical liberal. I believe the vote is sacred. My Democrats in Congress do, too.

One of the greatest speeches of my lifetime was Al Sharpton at 2004 Convention. The stealing of the 2000 election. When he spoke of the 3 civil rights martyrs in Mississippi, I had chills down my spine.

If you are not moved by USA, USA! with our guys fighting for our votes, I really don’t know what I can say to you.

12. Dems need to out-patriot the phony Republican patriots

So sick of the false perception that the repugs are the patriots.It was actually nice to see the Dems use the same theater they use on us. If these types of displays point out how truly unpatriotic the rethugs are, then we must go full-out to show it to the rubes who only understand bumper sticker slogans.

My experience is that you can never talk logic to a right winger. They only understand emotion and simplicity.
