any time before it gets turned over to the jury. Of course, he's only going to want to do that of it's going badly for him.

If he sees that he will certainly lose and go to jail, his options are make a deal or hope that Trump pardons him after he is convicted.

Even with a pardon there is stigma. And he'd really owe 45 one.

They explained this on the NPR. The longer he waits to make a deal, the worse the deal gets.

That is during the Pre-Indictment Conference. After that, all plea bargains reduce your chances for a lighter sentence and less money.

Predictit has him 84% to be convicted this year
