Voting on November 6 is not enough

Be it Republican or Russian, there will be serious efforts to steal the 2018 mid-term elections, so merely voting is not enough! Here is what we all need to do:

* Make sure you are registered to vote NOW! Check here: www.vote.org! Remember Florida in 2000? No November 6 surprises!

* If you have the opportunity, always take a paper ballot over an electronic voting machine and utilize early voting: Avoid intentionally designed 6 hour waiting lines like in Cleveland in 2004.

* If you know anyone who needs assistance, obtaining a photo ID, a ride to the polls, getting an absentee ballot before the deadline, help them ASAP!

* If you can use a sick or personal business day from your job, make plans to take off November 6, 2018 and volunteer for your local Democrat!

* No matter how small, donate to key Democratic races. Senate: Beto O'Rourke in Texas, Claire McCaskill in Missouri, Rep: Sean Casten in Illinois, etc.

* If the Democrats do take the House and/or the Senate, Demand the Truth! No more "Let's move forward" and "The past is the past." The Republican Party has to finally be held accountable for their consistent betrayal of American democracy.

These ideas may sound small but multiply them by 1,000's and they will make a big difference!

I've re-registered republiconneds on the spot this cycle. Also people in the dr's waiting room, delivery people, grocery stores. I usually keep the forms andturn them in. If you're working for a local candidate, that info is invaluable, so copy the form (it's legal) and email it off to the campaign. They'll call them before the election to make sure they vote.
