@realDonaldTrump

..This is a terrible situation and Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further. Bob Mueller is totally conflicted, and his 17 Angry Democrats that are doing his dirty work are a disgrace to USA!

Does anyone think, after Helsinki, that Congress would hold him to account for anything he does?

He may be hearing from some Republicans behind the scenes that this *would* be a "red line" that he can't cross with them. Or maybe his attorneys have privately advised him that, legally, this would be utterly catastrophic for him. I honestly can't see how firing Mueller would end well for him- as if any of this will. And, try as he and his Republican enablers would like, there is simply no evidence that Mueller's investigation is tainted, so the blowback to him being fired would likely be unstoppable and even some Republicans probably know it (but won't say) and wouldn't be able to ignore the public outrage. Firing Rosenstein probably wouldn't go over well at this point, either.

He's desperately looking for someone to get him some deodorant, and no one seems to have any.

The angrier they get, the less likely the Republicans in congress will do anything even if Mueller presents them with a pile of irrefutable evidence Trump and his goons broke the law.

Not sure that is going to work but I think they think that is their only/best option now.
