He just tweeted about the "smocking gun"

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

“We already have a smocking gun about a campaign getting dirt on their opponent, it was Hillary Clinton. How is it OK for Hillary Clinton to proactively seek dirt from the Russians but the Trump campaign met at the Russians request and that is bad?”

her "nasty-grams" contained. She was my hubby's peer and they really didn't like each other. When it was particularly bad, I would call him and ask "What did you do to piss her off now?", and I was usually accurate about something going down within the last 12-24 hrs.

In this case, we know exactly what is pissing off the orange turd!

Smocking is an embroidery technique used to gather fabric so that it can stretch. Before elastic, smocking was commonly used in cuffs, bodices, and necklines in garments where buttons were undesirable.

I just checked the WP to see if Thiessen had a recent column on the subject but didn't see anything. His latest was about the need for NATO.

1) Trump's campaign coordinated with the Russians via WikiLeaks, Guccifer, Stone, Carter Page, possibly Manafort, etc., including a public call from a rally podium.

2) Trump offered quid pro quo (sanctions relief, better relations).

3) Trump family and Trump campaign chief met with Russian agents in June 2016, at Trump Tower, yards away from Trump who was also in the Tower at the time and may have been listening in on speaker phone.

4) Clinton did not seek info from the Russians. Her campaign (or DNC maybe?) got a law firm to do research. The firm contracted with a research company (Fusion GPS). That company hired a company in the UK (Steele). Steele asked his contacts in Russia and Russian influenced areas. They were not Russian agents and were four steps or more removed from Hillary.
