Some of these families have seen the last of each other, thanks to our government. The backlash, unfortunately, will probably not reach the parties responsible for these heinous crimes.

I can't help contemplating the disparity in response, though, and how our popular media treat various victims. "Economically insecure" white working class folks lash out violently, and the public is told that we need to understand and sympathize with their unreasoning reactions. The survivors of our reprehensible policies, however, are not granted any understanding or sympathy when their anger boils over, even if their only response is ineffectively yelling "Death to America" from thousands of miles away.
