PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -

An employee at a Southwest Key facility in Phoenix was arrested for the molestation of a 14-year-old.

Southwest Key is a facility where migrant children are being housed.

Lewis said officers learned that a witness had seen the suspect, identified as 32-year-old Fernando Negrete who is employed at the location, inappropriately touch a 14-year-old.

Negrete was booked into jail on once count each of molestation, aggravated assault and sexual abuse.

Need to apply for and receive a first class fingerprint clearance card from the DPS. It involves an extensive background check including through the ncic system. Automatic exclusion for any crime against a child and any felony.

I assume that these workers are required to have one.
