At a White House briefing, Sanders was asked about Trumps Wednesday tweet about shutting down the probe into Russias interference and possible collusion within the Trump campaign.
Its not an order, its the presidents opinion, Sanders insisted to White House reporters. The president is not obstructing. Hes fighting back. The president is stating his opinion. Hes stating it clearly. And he certainly is expressing the frustration that he has with the level of corruption that weve seen from people like Jim Comey, Peter Strzok. Most of America is angry as well and theres no real reason he shouldnt be able to voice that opinion.
Its gone on for an extensive amount of time, she opined. Theyve still come up with nothing in regards to the president. Wed like to see it come to a close.
The entire investigation is based off of a dirty, discredited dossier that was paid for by an opposing campaign and had a lot of corruption within the entity which was overseeing it, which was Peter Strzok, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sanders added. I dont think we have to go into it every time were here.

(52,253 posts)the investigation was not launched to find fault specifically with donnie. it already has yielded a bunch of indictments and some guilty pleas.
how is it that it's all about donnie? well, obviously, because donnie is all about donnie.
but he's not been formally identified as a target, and in theory, donnie could completely have taken the view that he was innocent but there may have been a few bad apples in the campaign and he'd cooperate in sorting it all out.
it's obvious that the only reason he has to act this way is because he knows damn well he's committed crimes.
what's remarkable to me is that the media never seems to point out how much he's acting like someone who is guilty as hell.
i mean, if the police launched an investigation into some crime spree in my town, and i then started publicly railing against the police department and prosecutors and calling the whole investigation a sham and insisting it be shut down, then you can bet your bottom dollar that the whole town would be convinced that i was guilty as hell, and if the investigation wasn't focused on me before, they'd sure take a hard look after all those tirades....

(33,345 posts)They keep throwing out the same talking points which are at best, generalizations.
Does anyone but Mueller's team and Rosenstein know what they've "come up with" in regards to Trump? Do the Preznit's lawyers know?
