What is this "13 or 17 Angry Democrats" that the Orange idiot keeps spouting?

I have seen tweets and heard Trump talk about "13 (now up to 17 I guess) Democrats". I have tried to Google it and usually a bunch of right wing websites that I will not click into, pop up.

I know that Trump is always trying to imply that Mueller is biased against him and that only his political opponents are involved, but can someone clarify what Trump is referring to?

I haven't had time to look through them all, and haven't seen any explicit information on their political affiliation, but most seem like badass lawyers who were specialists in taking down corrupt organizations.

I guess if I was a corrupt president I would be pissed and tweeting too.

How do we know these prosecutors are Democrats? And why, exactly, does this matter?

Bonus question: Aren't Mueller and Rosenstien REPUBLICANS...?

From what I have been able to look up from the list, I haven't found any political affiliations on some of the attorneys. Most of them very clearly and easily show why Mueller picked them. They are a "Murderers Row" of going after corrupt organizations. I would be scared witless if they were coming after me, and I know that I have never conspired to do anything like what Trump is suspected of doing.

He is just providing the blueprint for when they are going to say all of Mueller's findings are irrelevant. Gives cover for the Republicans when they vote not to impeach.

numbers are a fixed point, and substitute for logic to make the mind more easily manipulated in the verbal aspects of communication.

Trump is trying to pretend this whole thing is a partisan exercise. In reality the overwhelming majority of DOJ/FBI people involved are life-long Republicans.

Conflict here, conflict there, conflict everywhere... trDump is totally innocent and has recently applied to be an alter boy and intends to join a Jesuit monastery. Would someone please hand him his buy-bull.

...they are men of honor.

I understand why career civil servants in places like DOJ and FBI would tend toward classical conservatism -- it's a cast of mind that respects the written law (not that we don't, understand). They joined the GOP decades ago, decades before it rotted, corroded, and betrayed everything they believe in.

However, they are serving in politically neutral positions. They took an oath to defend the Constitution, not the GOP. And like I said, they are men of honor.

They reiterate that Mueller himself is a Republican (as is Rosenstein) but they have never claimed the attorneys working on Mueller's team are Republicans (since there is no evidence to suggest that they are).

24. Here is what Wash. Post found out about political affiliation of Mueller team:
Wed Aug 1, 2018, 05:05 PM
Aug 2018

The president is ignoring one important fact: Robert S. Mueller III, who heads the team, is a longtime registered Republican. He was appointed by another Republican, Rod J. Rosenstein, whom Trump nominated as deputy attorney general. But publicly available voter registration information shows that 13 of the 17 members of Mueller's team have previously registered as Democrats, while four had no affiliation or their affiliation could not be found.

Nine of the 17 made political donations to Democrats, their contributions totaling more than $57,000. The majority came from one person, who also contributed to Republicans. Six donated to Hillary Clinton, Trump's opponent in the 2016 race.

It seems straight forward. Lawyers are typically affiliated with the Democratic Party which is why you always heard the disparaging remarks about the "Trial Lawyer" lobby in the 90's and 2000's.

Trump just seems to always need to throw hyperbolic and mostly untrue statements out there.
