(6,831 posts)Back when late night hosts were actually funny, topical, irreverent and CLEVER. I will never forget Steve Allen's show. The things he used to do, like become a tea bad and jump in a bowl of jello. His skits with Louis Nye, "Hey there Steverino." And Don Knotts, "What ? Me nervous ?" His piano. OMG, I could go one forever.
Couldn't say schmuck on national tv and changed it to smock.
So, does that give us a smoking schmuck smock?
