Trump's family is at war and he is throwing Don Jr. under the bus to save his own ass.

Subtext of his morning Tweet about the Trump Tower meeting: Don Jr is guilty and I didn't know anything about it.

In other words: Lock up my son, not me - I mean I am so innocent that when Jr later told me, I wasn't even aware he did anything illegal.

This follows family division, seen as disloyalty, in the past few days when Ivanka contradicted 45 on immigration and the media, and Melania took a different position on LeBron James. The whole family all know that the old guy is sick in the head. They undermine his delusions and he is mad at them all, as he is with the rest of the world.

Have to edit this since a couple people have pointed out that I actually called IQ45 smart.

He is not smart. He just made a Tweet that looks like it has a purpose rather than most of the rest which are more like the ramblings of a madman.

the image of Trump, wandering the White House, Big Mac sauce on his shirt and greasy fingers angrily banging out Tweets...looking like Anthony Hopkins portrayal of Nixon talking to the JFK portrait...only he is not muttering at President Obama's portrait in his itty bitty mind and its driving him more insane...

It'd be real nice if the White House had a garden maze and a freak blizzard to have him end up like this:

he cares about. The last pardon can be his own. His goal is to stay in power long enough to keep the gravy train rolling. Also he can feed his own psychopathic ego.

I can't imagine what the founders would have thought of making such a venal man President.

As soon as he is out of office, he will be hit with a plethora of civil suits. His Trump organization has been under investigation in New York, and once he is out of office, he is fair game for everything that was done before and after his presidency. In some cases, maybe even done during his presidency.

Once the link is made that proves he knew about this meeting and perhaps even participated in it somehow, and you know that information is out there and can be provided probably by Cohen, then this morning's admission comes right back on him.

Money that would not be subject to seizure when the house of cards falls down. I only ask because I don't really think Don Jr is close his dad like Ivanka is. He flat out didn't speak to Trump for months after his dad left Ivana for Marla Maples. There's a record of physical abuse. If Trump throws Jr under the bus, I think Jr could very well turn on his dad, provided he has enough of his own money to start over. Sure, the whole family is a bunch of crooks, but I don't think Trump is really worth nearly as much as he says he is. That's why he won't release his tax returns. My guess is that Trump Sr is in debt up to his eyeballs, including indebtedness to the Russians, and being disinherited by daddy may not be all that costly.

I realize I'm thinking WAY outside the box, but could Donny become a hero? Cohen is flipping, and you know there will be others. Will Donny flip too?

Sun Aug 5, 2018, 11:57 AM
Aug 2018

CNN)Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former personal attorney, claims that then-candidate Trump knew in advance about the June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower in which Russians were expected to offer his campaign dirt on Hillary Clinton, sources with knowledge tell CNN. Cohen is willing to make that assertion to special counsel Robert Mueller, the sources said.

Cohen's claim would contradict repeated denials by Trump, Donald Trump Jr., their lawyers and other administration officials who have said that the President knew nothing about the Trump Tower meeting until he was approached about it by The New York Times in July 2017.

Cohen alleges that he was present, along with several others, when Trump was informed of the Russians' offer by Trump Jr. By Cohen's account, Trump approved going ahead with the meeting with the Russians, according to sources.

This was supposed to be to eliminate conflicts of interest leaving his sons in charge of the older criminal enterprises and money laundering operations. He even attempted a joke at the time that he would watch how well they performed. So not only are the tree fruit running Donald’s business they keep their Trumpian puckered lips in Donald’s politics. This alone should exclude any Trump running any business or government. Low life criminals and traitors.

44. Trump admitting to OBSTRUCTION: admitting he lied about meeting in his statement in July 2017
Sun Aug 5, 2018, 01:26 PM
Aug 2018
Flying home from Germany on July 8 aboard Air Force One, Trump personally dictated a statement in which Trump Jr. said that he and the Russian lawyer had “primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children” when they met in June 2016, according to multiple people with knowledge of the deliberations. The statement, issued to the New York Times as it prepared an article, emphasized that the subject of the meeting was “not a campaign issue at the time.”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-dictated-sons-misleading-statement-on-meeting-with-russian-lawyer/2017/07/31/04c94f96-73ae-11e7-8f39-eeb7d3a2d304_story.html
(July 31, 2017)

Mueller's probe was already launched by then, of course. Hence OBSTRUCTION.

This is the statement one of his lawyers attempted to fall on his sword for a little later.
