Putin and Trump are now and have been trying to throw so much stuff agains the wall (lies, things to get >60% of Americans angry, and pure lunacy) to see what sticks.
This is being done by design so as to overwhelm us so that we question reality and stop resisting.
NY Times; Steven Seagal Appointed by Russia as Special Envoy to the U.S.
The action-movie star Steven Seagal has played a former C.I.A. agent, a hit man and a killer of criminals. On Saturday, Russian officials tapped him for another role: special representative to improve relations between the United States and Russia.
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the appointment on Facebook, saying his mission will include promoting relations between Russia and the United States in the humanitarian field, including cooperation in culture, arts, public and youth exchanges.
The position is unpaid, said Russian officials, who compared the role to that of a United Nations good-will ambassador a distinguished volunteer who calls attention to the work of the United Nations.
Relations between the two countries have been fraught as United States intelligence agencies have accused Russia of interfering in the 2016 elections and have warned it could do so again in the November contests. The countries have also been at odds over the Syrian civil war and the Russian annexation of Crimea.

(86,607 posts)both aren't favorable to him. I once lived in a community where he once owned trophy property, nobody saw him as anything but a CA jerk with some cash to invest in a large ranch which he lost after a few years.

(86,607 posts)with him, then everyone who would do so let me know his history. Fortunately I was a cashier at a grocery store which made him so ridiculously obvious that I was actually annoyed by the time he got face to face with me. I blew him off so bad that he came back in, went to the idiot sh*t-for-brains produce guy, paid him probably $50 to come up and make sure I knew who "that guy" was! Pathetic individual. I not only laughed at the produce guy while Segal was lurking down one of the aisles, I told all the other store employees so they could get a good laugh too. It was a major tourist town and we saw our fair share of the "Foo Foo the Snoo" crowd every summer.
