I won't link to content here as I'm afraid I would get in trouble but WTF is going on in the NY governor race? The attacks on Jumaane Williams are God awful. This is really bad stuff, in the swamp sort of slime.
You're free to Google it but Twitter is probably the best place to search. Just type in "Jumaane Williams".
This toxicity has to stop! We are only helping moron in the White House & his party of brown shirts.

(112,520 posts)1. It's the lieutenant governor's race.
For some additional context to the OP:
Maybe its time for New Yorks Democratic voters to start taking a closer look at the statewide primary for lieutenant governor, now less than 50 days away.
For one thing, the race is remarkably close: A new Siena Poll finds incumbent Kathy Hochul leading by just nine points with nearly half of all voters still undecided.
And then theres her challenger, Brooklyn City Councilman Jumaane Williams, who has now traded endorsements with Gov. Andrew Cuomos challenger, Cynthia Nixon.
As The Post reported Tuesday, Williams owes nearly $625,000 on a loan he took out to finance a since-failed vegan-sandwich shop. His house was foreclosed on when he stopped making payments for which he blames Cuomos housing policies.
Earlier this month, The Post reported that his LG campaign received $50,000 in apparently illegal contributions from three affiliated companies. (The campaign responded to that news by saying it would return the money.)

The name didn't seem familiar since I knew that Cuomo and Nixon were the candidates getting the buzz.
