(7,299 posts)Began with the rise of Reagan, some 38 years ago. Our 28 year old friend missed out on the first 10 years of this phenomenon. Ironically, a person who is the age of 66 years today was 28 years old when redirected income by way of stagnant wages began as a economic phenomenon. This is the first we have ever heard of this. I thank her from the bottom of my heart, only, I never had furbees and two vans in my family, couldn't have two vans in the govt subsided housing, only one parking spot allowed. We also had food stamps and powdered milk, lived in trailer homes, single mom raised us, free lunch, food stamps, my clothes were from my cousins, never got to go on vacation until my 30's, wore tennis shoes with three pairs of socks in the Idaho winter. So yeah, we don't know what the fuck you are talking about.
