You can't make this stuff up........Republican chairman calls Obama supporter mentally retarded

County GOP Chair Called Obama Supporter Retarded
Allegheny County, PA GOP chair Jim Roddey made a joke at a Republican election night party equating President Obama's supporters with the mentally disabled, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Said Roddey: "There was a disappointment tonight. I was very embarrassed. I was in this parking lot and there was a man looking for a space to park, and I found a space for him. And I felt badly -- he looked like he was sort of in distress. And I said, 'Sir, here's a place.' And he said, 'That's a handicapped space.' I said, 'Oh I'm so sorry, I saw that Obama sticker and I thought you were mentally retarded.'"

According to the report, "the crowd hollered and clapped."

He (Roddey) is being asked to step down.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

In email today, Mr. Roddey called his remarks "regrettable," and added, "I have a long record of supporting people with disabilities and should have remembered that before I spoke. My remarks were inappropriate and I apologize."

Pretty much sums up the Republican brand of "humor". How offensive. These people are the dregs of humanity.

On another note, anyone watch the GOP debates?

Is there a reserved parking spot for clown cars?

Those same people that laughed?

They are the ones that gave resounding applause for that psuedo "reality TV" series that was a public display of embarrasment for the entire world to see. A fine example of American exceptionalism.

Of course after that was "Game Change" starring the infamous Carbou Barbie. I hear the distint shoreline view of "Russia" is just beautiful this time of year and you can learn so much about foreign policy from your front porch as well.

But that isn't important right now. "Some people" are concerned about our "anti American" display at the Summer Olympics.

Yep....anyone that would vote for our fine President has serious cognitive issues.
