Hoagensen wins primary MO-4

Her opponent , Hallie Thompson, is young and someone to watch for in the future.

Renee will be taking on Vicky Hartzler, known for being one of the most anti LGBT members of Congress.

I can't think of a better way to make a homophobe mad than donating time or money to her campaign .

My track record of donating or putting up signs is a big fat zero. Maybe I should send $1.00 to her opponent?

Even a wave would be hard-pressed to flip this.

MO-2 is starting to become competitive.

Hatzler got 74,226 vs 24,139 for Hoagenson

I will have to send Ann Wagner $1.00 so that I may extend my jinx of to whomever I donate losing, to this "charming" individual.

Are the amendments up for vote in November. They are predicted to bring out more voters and more first time voters than usual.

New Approach is medical marijuana sponsored by NORML. CLEAN is redistricting due to gerrymandering and limiting the amount a candidate can receive from special interest to no more than $500 a campaign season and no more than $5 from lobbyists for serving politicians, along with a set amount of time (2 years,I believe)before a resigning politician can work as a lobbyist or work in any position for a special interest. RUM (Raise Up Missouri) is a minimum wage increase, starting Jan 1 by $1 and increasing every year until $12 an hour in 2023.

I am a local club officer and since the release of the ballot issues (Aug 2) I have been flagged down in public and messaged on Facebook about where to vote and how to register. People have also asked several questions about Hoagensen and Thompson, along with local races.

The staff is in place. She has volunteers, many whom have never worked a campaign before and are tired of Hartzler. And this district before Hartzler was a longtime Democratic stronghold. (Ike Skelton held it for over 30 years.) Honestly, they need money to compete against Hartzler.

...as one of the people with the money, I have to decide which races to target. We need 23 pickups to take the House. There are 52 House races that are Toss-ups or Leans, and 27 "Likely" races that may become more competitive. Burning cash on a Safe R seat isn't a rational decision.
