(30,481 posts)Lets get the majority and have a leader showdown. It wont last all that long and then we can move forward.
Will the party go to the right with a Tim Ryan type? Not a chance. Knowing that makes me more comfortable.

(30,481 posts)I also find it to be an acceptable question to ask candidates. They should answer honestly and in a way that is representative of the constituents they are looking to serve.

(92,187 posts)divide Democrat before the midterms, and to what purpose?
Wait until AFTER the midterms, then let's go at it who we want as the Democratic leader in the House.

(5,524 posts)Even if every single one of them won, they still would not represent a large enough contingent to turn the table. I suspect the same would be true for the Republicans as well if Ryan were staying.
I am neutral on the subject. I don't have a problem with Pelosi but neither am I excited by her. I am fine with a challenge and let the best candidate win.
But AFTER the election.

(92,187 posts)the potential to do is divide Democrats before the election in November.
Let's see if we can bring up divisionary issues before the midterms among ourselves to see if we can lose
It f**king never fails.
This can be done AFTER THE MIDTERMS, there is plenty of time, but no, some believe in their brillant vision of things that bringing this up now somehow helps us win
Go after the f**king republicans now. Push Healthcare for everyone, jobs, social security, medicare, civil rights, etc.
Is this really rocket science?

(5,754 posts)Republican candidates run against Nancy Pelosi instead of running against their actual opponents. If you don't live in a district like that, you don't understand. This is just a tactic.

(30,481 posts)Thats crazy.
And here I was thinking Pelosi was perfect for OH 12 and similar districts.
Im going to have to re-evaluate how I see everything.

I just dont see the significance in them answering this question truthfully.
