The witch's brew ingredients:
1. Fear - Fear is pain arising from the anticipation of evil.
- Aristotle
2. Anger - "Anger is the fiery breath of the underworld."
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
3. Hate - "I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear."
- Martin Luther King Jr.
Isn't hate the mixture of fear and anger that only a truly evil witch would even attempt?
To me speech is the magic wand that combines fear and anger into the toxin of hate. It takes a talented witch with special skills of speech to conjure up the formula.
Enter the Witch Hunter, calm, silent, methodical, cautious, wary, relentless, methodical, fearless, without anger, non-emotive. Incorruptible.
The Witchhunter slays with speech as well as the Witch abuses speech.
Enter Perseus.
So, it is a witchunt! I have my golden drachmas on Perseus because I know how that turned out.

When targets are convicted with screaming teenagers pointing a little yellow birds flying around the heads of the accused, then it's a witch hunt.
When targets are summarily convicted without evidence and are either burned at the stake or pressed to death by a board and heavy stones, then it's a witch hunt.
As 900 women were murdered in Europe in the Dark Ages for being witches when in fact they were healers and midwives, I take offense at the cavalier way Donald Trump has labeled his situation a "witch hunt".

(23,946 posts)In Greek mythology, Perseus is the legendary founder of Mycenae and of the Perseid dynasty, who, alongside Cadmus and Bellerophon, was the greatest Greek hero and slayer of monsters before the days of Heracles. He beheaded the Gorgon Medusa for Polydectes and saved Andromeda from the sea monster Cetus. He was the son of Zeus and the mortal Danaë, as well as the half-brother and great-grandfather of Heracles. More at Wikipedia
Looks like my OP is being misunderstood over...Greek mythology knowledge.
