Trump has turned the WH into a snake pit. I doubt that you could find one virtuous person working there at this time. When you surround yourself with snakes and other vermin there is a good chance that you will get bit.
Forgot looking out for the best interests of this country and the people, they are too buy plotting and planning and trying to save their own skins. |

4. Her book sales aren't as good as she hoped
in spite of all the "explosive" claims in it. She seems to have a credibility problem, and, I read, a likability problem as well.
It's possible that most of the attention she gets will be from Trump's loyal base, who will be energized, helpful rocket fuel for outrage given by her provable untruths. The effect on the rest of the conservative electorate...? One remaining hope is that something in her book could spark investigation by journalists that turned up something big and believable before the election. But remember, the millions who watch MSNBC, CNN, and Fox can be counted on one hand. Most of the rest of America doesn't want to hear it. Even Trump-Russia. At this point I'm hoping it decreases conservative turnout a tad on November 6, but not really expecting. ![]() |

10. The publishing community knows. And don't forget
the information they get from both presales and people rushing to get a copy asap.
Sales could build in a nonstandard curve, of course. As I said, if one of her allegations triggered investigation that turned up something that got the press involved. Don't forget, though, that these days Trump "scandals" turn up every day at a rate that can't begin to be covered before being pushed off into history by new ones. News stories that would once have been discussed for weeks are virtually forgotten overnight. And that's mostly real stuff, not questionable allegations. If Trump camp decides this book is a useful distraction, and it could turn out to be, he'll keep it in the news. If it's hurtful, he'll provide other distractions to scroll it down. |

22. The first mistake was hiring her. Downhill from there.
I never watched The Apprentice nor Big Brother. So I don't have much to go on when it comes to Omarosa. Other than what I read here mostly. From what I do read, though, it should have been clear to them from the outset she was in it for the money and fame, just like Trump. Why they would not have stopped to think about her recording them is really beyond me.
As I understand it, the confidentiality agreements are not worth a damn when it comes to working for the federal government. I'm sure the publishing house that published her book looked at it before risking anything. So, the tapes to come are just going to get better and better. I so hope this is keeping him up at night. |

36. I hope so too but doubt it. Reportedly she saw
little of Trump most of her time in the WH compared to many others. I'd love this book to blow up into something big before the midterms, but it seems more likely the Trump camp will use bits and pieces to distract. They don't mind mud and embarrassment. We'll see. Hope, hope.
As for confidentiality agreements, of course adherence still matters a great deal to future employers who want to hire honorable, dependable people. But this bizarre administration drew a whole criminal subculture of swamp things who creep and slither along very different paths. We've never seen anything like this! |

She can be an absolute total snake and anybody that turns their back on her is a total fool. She is not a team player but is out totally for herself (a female version of Trump). I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her but she is very smart, calculating, and very articulate. What she is doing now is very well planned out. She is not going to make any public claims that she does not feel like she has the goods to back her claims.

43. Going by what I have gleaned over the years...
Certainly not from watching The Apprentice....Omarosa is a perfect villainess. She is poised, articulate and calculating in her every move. She does nothing (and says nothing) that is not thought out and part of a bigger strategy. These are just observations and impressions , mind you. So it seems to me that from the day she set foot in the White House, she had a bigger operation planned. She knew Donald, as she likes to call him, suggesting an intimacy and familiarity obtained by being on the inside of his circle. It is not hard to imagine that she has used her insider’s knowledge with her sense of cunning to make a master plan that she is now executing. Omarosa is no dummy. She plays the master villain to perfection. I have never liked this woman but in this instance am actually hoping her devious operation works to take tRump down. Even a little. It won’t take a whole lot of undermining to destroy any chance he has to keep a sustainable base. So even if she is not successful in destroying him, she may have enough to destabilize what he thinks is his ticket to a second term. Or his get out of jail free card. |

"The Snake" being the subject of that idiotic fable he uses to bash immigrants, where someone takes an injured snake into their home, nurses it back to health, and it still bites them in the end. It fits here, as well. He brought in a reality show star with a dying career, gave her a job and... You knew she was a snake when you let her into your house, you asshole. 53. remains to be seen - she could be doing Trump's bidding, it all smells like bait
Trump or Kelly might have canned her last year with the understanding that she would deploy unreliable, unconfirmable, or outright false information to smear him.
then Trump denies everything. news outlets get hung up on a "he said she said" smokescreen. online forums debate the spotty "evidence" she provides, right wing talk shows go straight to the "she's a fraud" angle while the "legit" news networks are tied up in figuring out what she has anyway. and then, once the news shows are completely okay with Omarosa's story, she pulls out the rug and admits falsification. the right wing talk shows are vindicated, left wing Omarosa supporters look like idiots, Trump can tell endless variations of the story to spruce up his "fake news" rallies. i'm not saying i have evidence that this is how things are, just that (a) it fits their MO (remember Dan Rather and the ANG memo?) and (b) there's a hell of a lot of up-side for the Trumpists if this is their plan. what i'm saying is DON'T TAKE THE BAIT. oops, looks like it's too late. |
